Flat on my back exhausted. . .good thing we’ve been stopping every ten feet for snacks.  🙂

That’s why we’ll be in Milan next week.  😉

Let’s get it out on the table-  sometimes Scott is a monster.  Yesterday, on his way home from the office, he stopped at the Carrefour Supermarché, located just outside of the city in Meylan.  His purpose there was attending the last day of a sale on single malt whiskies to restock his stash.

When he arrived home, I began unpacking his bags: Lagavulin 16, Scapa 16, Aberlour 18, a giant box of Rice Krispies & 1.5lbs (!) marshmallows.  When I looked up, he was grinning sheepishly.  I guess there’s no better way to ask me to make you Rice Krispies Treats than to provide (an excess of) the ingredients.  So yes, he is a monster, albeit a very lovable one. . .like a cat.  😉

This post is mostly for Diana.

I recently did a beauty swap with a friend in the States, and I managed to use 7 (!) of the products she sent in one sitting.  This is the anti #allnatural #nomakeup selfie.  This the #expensiveandhighmaintenance selfie.

I used Tata Harper moisturiser, Bobbi Brown concealer, au Naturale highlighter, Bobbi Brown creme blush, Well People brightening stick, Follain lip balm & Sappho lip gloss.

#didn’twakeuplikethis.

Thanks again, Diana!  🙂

Now that we’ve been in France for two years, we though it best to find out what Lyon has to offer . . . besides the airport.  🙂

Who doesn’t love surprise gifts????  I know I do!!!!  😀  😀  😀  😀

I just saw a picture of Jared Leto from Paris Fashion Week.  He’s wearing an article of clothing that I know for a fact is hanging in Scott’s (walk in, btw) closet right now.  Dr. No. . .fashion maven.  😀  😀  😀

Too much for the Noog?

Two weeks ago. . .

Scott: Where do you want to go for dinner?

Amanda: I don’t know.  I’d really like some fresh pasta with a simple, well made sauce.

(beat)

Scott: Why don’t we just go to Italy?

Amanda: Yeah.  Okay.

If only everything in life was this simple.  The first week of July, end of season sales begin in Milano too, so a hasty shopping and eating trip was planned.  Did I mention that Monday is a holiday in France, so nothing will be open there anyway? Might as well be somewhere else.  😉
